Methacton's
Medicine and Science Club
The Medicine and Science Club's goal at Methacton High School is to raise awareness of various STEM-related opportunities within the community and foster enthusiasm for STEM! It's a great way for you to explore what you do or don't like in the field by listening to various guest speakers come in and talk about their careers or even through fun activities like our annual STEM Day for kids.
With the new environment of virtual activities last year, the club had to adapt to new circumstances. That's when the idea of developing a website was brought up and here's the finished product! We hope you enjoy it and please give us any feedback through the form down below!!
If you are a high school student interested in joining the club, please email our club sponsor, Mr. Adoff, so he can give you more information about membership (DAdoff@methacton.org). Our club meetings are held on Wednesdays in Mr. Adoff's room (Room C251). Anyone from any background can join! You don't need any experience related to STEM; this is just a fun club meant for you to explore your interests and learn more about the field in general :)
Our high school club is working on expanding to the elementary and middle schools, so hopefully, there will be more opportunities in the future!! To keep up with all updates, make sure to follow us on Instagram (@mhsmedandscience)!!
